But they are still <strong>more affordable<\/strong> than in many of the main coastal areas of the peninsula.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Average price in the Canary Islands (February 2025):<\/strong> 2,922 \u20ac\/m\u00b2.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Average price in Spain (January 2025):<\/strong> 2,271 \u20ac\/m\u00b2.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>M\u00e1laga (Costa del Sol):<\/strong> 3,617 \u20ac\/m\u00b2.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Balearic Islands:<\/strong> 4,789 \u20ac\/m\u00b2.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If we compare, we see that <strong>the square meter in Fuerteventura still has an attractive price.<\/strong> Especially if we contrast it with the Costa del Sol or the Balearic Islands, where buying is increasingly complicated by high prices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, in Fuerteventura <strong>it is<\/strong> still <strong>possible to find homes with sea views at reasonable prices.<\/strong> Something difficult in many areas of the peninsula, where prices have skyrocketed in recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tax benefits<\/strong> <strong>for a second residence in Fuerteventura<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the great attractions of buying in the Canary Islands is its tax regime. Its main advantage is the possibility of reducing the tax burden of companies and self-employed individuals operating in the Canary Islands, provided that they reinvest their profits in certain assets, including <strong>real estate intended for tourist or residential rental<\/strong>.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A perfect climate all year round<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a key point.
